Changes at Liquor Licensing, QOGR and Racing
Integration of Gaming Regulation, Liquor Licensing and Racing
On 1 July 2008 the Queensland Office of Gaming Regulation, Liquor Licensing Division and Office of Racing integrated to form the Office of Liquor, Gaming and Racing. The new organisation is located at 33 Charlotte Street Brisbane, in the building which has housed QOGR since 2004.
The full implementation of the integration will take place over time with the major work occurring around the alignment of the compliance and licensing functions of the gaming and liquor offices. Also, as part of the merger process, the separate websites will be integrated. Information about progress will be published on this page.
